The rhombic triacontahedron is one of the three-dimensional polyhedra, one of the thirteen catalan solids, and is the dual of the icosidodecahedron.

The rhombi in a rhombic triacontahedron are golden. The means that the ratio of the long diagonal to the short diagonal is the golden ratio. Despite this, the golden ratio is not rational.

Hypervolumes Edit

  • vertex count = 32
  • edge length = 60l
  • surface area = { 12l }^{ 2 }\sqrt { 5 }
  • surcell volume = { 4l }^{ 3 }\sqrt { 5+2\sqrt { 5 }  }
